T.H.A.M.O.S.

T.H.A.M.O.S. is a large-format opera show by La Fura dels Baus based on Thamos, King in Egypt K345, composed by a 17-year-old W.A. Mozart.

The show incorporates other works by Mozart as well as algorithmic music pieces, composed using a computer program that I specifically developed for this production.

T.H.A.M.O.S. is inspired by the drama of evolving power dynamics in the 21st century and the struggle to overcome new forms of slavery. It premiered in Salzburg during the Mozartwoche in January 2019.
