Presented By Riyadh is a design project for a shoe store featuring an interactive floor inspired by the fluid movements of water. It is located in the U-Walk Arabian Center.
For this project, I developed the people-tracking system and the visuals projected onto the floor, using a shader coded in GLSL based on caustics and deformation.
UID Parlamentarium is an interactive installation featuring a floor with a printed map of Europe and tablets that allow users to view audiovisual content through augmented reality (AR).
For this project, I developed the AR application that was able to function stably under challenging conditions, across a floor of over 100 square meters. The media content could be loaded dynamically from a CMS using a proxy server.
The installation is available in several European cities within the spaces of the Parlamentarium (European Parliament museum).
WOW Concept is a project featuring two permanent interactive installations for the WOW shopping center in Madrid. The first installation is an interactive runway corridor based on flow field particles. The second installation is an area with LED bars and interactive lighting.
For this project, I used the tracking system I designed, which I have implemented in numerous immersive projects. It is based on depth cameras, and the content reacts to the proximity of people moving through the space.
Mirador Torre Glories is a project where, together with John Talabot and María Arnal, we created an interactive soundscape for the exhibition at the Mirador de Torre Glories. The exhibition is conceived as a 10-year project, and the music for the space was designed to evolve over that time, using data from the city as a source of inspiration.
To generate the “soundtrack” for the space, I designed and programmed algorithmic music software capable of creating and improvising music in real time using data from the city of Barcelona. This data is extracted from APIs and includes information such as the city’s temperature, humidity, sea level, pollution, transportation flows, and more.
